Overview
In the charming neighborhood of La Gloria and only 2 minutes walk from the white sandy beach and turquoise ocean, Casa Bene is surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and beach clubs within walking distance.
To explore further beautiful Isla Mujeres, we highly recommend you to rent a golf cart, bike or scooter as we are centrally located, it takes about 10 minutes to ride to downtown Playa Norte or beautiful Punta Sur.
Our guests love the atmosphere of La Gloria, you will experience life in a typical Mexican neighborhood and feel like a local Islander. After a day in the bustling and lively Playa Norte, it's nice to return to a quieter area like La Gloria.

We know how important it is to feel comfortable and relaxed when you arrive from a long day at the beach or sightseeing, hopefully our place will make you feel at home.

* Lounge on the second floor, perfect for an afternoon read or to wind down after a day exploring the island.
* Deep Pool on the 3rd floor perfect to relax (opening hours : 9am to 9pm)
* Rooftop and BBQ on the top floor, for convivial moments around a meal, a drink and admire the magnificent sunset. The space also offers an area for yoga with a shower and bathroom.
Getting Around: The island is about 7km (4.3 mi) in length. Stroll the streets and enjoy the sights, sounds and delicious smells, as well as the smiling people who live on the island.
Casa Bene is within walking distance of Parque La Gloria, a lovely family park. Nearby are convenience stores, tortillerias, and an open mercado selling freshly squeezed juice, fruits, vegetables, and meats. It is easy to catch a taxi or get on the local bus in front of the Super Aki market to go downtown or to the beach.
Casa Bene is within walking distance to many popular restaurants : Bastos Grill, Limon, or Fuego de Mar.
We are located just 4 blocks from the beach with its turquoise rolling waters and stunning sunrises.

HOUSE RULES
* Self-check in is at 3:00 PM - Self-check out 11:00 AM
* All of our units and the building are NON SMOKING. Thank you for understanding.
* No parties or events are allowed on our property .
* We reserve the right to carry out any necessary construction to keep the house functioning and safe.
* We have a NO PET policy in the rest of the building please do not bring your pet into the communal areas like pool or rooftop etc. Only this one unit pets are allowed for an additional pet fee that covers our deep cleaning fees after every time a pet stays in the unit.
If you bring any animals on site without a previous agreement it will result in a $150 deep cleaning fee. We will discontinue hosting anyone who violates our policy immediately and (will have to leave the property) also any additional fee for damages may apply if the animal destroys any of the property.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
* Recycling in Mexico is not something common, but we try to contribute as much as possible and would like you to help us in this process to reduce the plastic intake. We provide transparent bags for you to put the tin cans in ; as it is the only thing that can be recycled here. Try to consume as eco-friendly as possible . We have two garbage cans outside that are located at both ends of the property in which you can deposit your trash bags.
* The plumbing in Mexico is not able to handle paper and other hygienic products to be flushed down the toilet. We kindly ask you to use the trash bin next to the toilet to flush all paper and other hygienic products.
* We kindly ask you to turn off the AC when you leave home, the air conditioner are brand new, very strong and it will cool your room within minutes.
ISLAND LIFE
* This is a small Caribbean Island. The power line in Isla comes from Cancun under the Caribbean sea. Rainstorms sometimes take out the power lines we have no control over and apologize if you may experience it. We will do our best to keep you informed and comfortable in that case.
* Mexican people like to enjoy life and that could result with salsa music over holidays and sometimes on the weekends, this is true for the whole Island and the whole country. Note that there is no noise ordinance here. However if you are bothered by nosiness we have included a white noise machine in every room to help our noise sensitive guest.
SERVICES ON DEMAND
* Breakfast (Fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, smoothies, butter, jam, cream cheese bagels or English muffins, coffee) ($13 per person) must request a day ahead and served at 9 am – menu might vary depending of the availability on the island
* In room massage from a local Mayan therapist (price on demand - depends on availability -we also ask you have to booked and pay in advance - for a last minute cancellation a 50% penalties reimbursement will apply)
* Taxi service (price on demand - for a last minute cancellation a 50% penalties reimbursement will apply)
* Pick-up at the ferry station (200 pesos + tips)
* Beach chairs and umbrellas rental for free. We only ask for a refundable 1000 pesos cash deposit
* Golf cart rental – very popular thing to do, convenient to discover the island – big demand, especially in high season it can be tricky to get a golf cart.
We can arranged a drop off service directly at the airbnb that will cost an additional 200 pesos –– note that a licence driver is required to rent a golf cart - (price on demand - restriction may apply)

* Snorkeling or Scuba-diving tour (Price on demand)
* Detergent for the washer (20 pesos/ dose)
* Nespresso capsules coffee (around 150 pesos for a box)
* Netflix – free service each room has its own account but you are welcome to login to your own personal account
* Alexa – the room is equipped with Amazon Alexa speakers, we kindly ask you to log in to your own personal account and log out when you leave to avoid any unwanted purchases.
